Spring is a time to bloom, and for new beginnings. Clean out the old, shake out the dust and start fresh mentally, spiritually and emotionally and whatever area in your life that needs renewing.
This year's theme I came up with for myself is, "bloom where you are planted." This simply means to start where I am, use the resources and time I have. Do what I can, where I am, with what I have. I have heard this saying many times, but now I am going to put it into action.
So...This season I have decided to set some easy short short-term goals. Here goes...
My Spring Season To Do List:
<> Start on my book (which I have already done)
<> Clean out my closet and drawers
<> Re-organize Organize stuff in my bedroom
<> Incorporate meditation and yoga into my lifestyle
The Hair:
I took out my Senegalese twist 2 weeks ago. Although I LOVED them and had so much fun whipping my hair back and forth, I was tired of the heaviness and weight of all that. I was ready to get back to curly, puffy hair.
I wore the Senegalese twists for about two months...
I needed a break from the styling, manipulation etc...but I'm loving my curls and coils!
I am thinking about cutting it again, but that's another story. I haven't made a decision yet, we'll see. To be continued....
So honestly, I first clicked for the picture...which I was happy to see ended up being 'pictures'. After seeing them, a scientific fact came to mind.
ReplyDeleteFlowers bloom with sunlight. The sun rises in the east. I'll leave that right there. :)
