P.S. You're Lovely, a Houston based company specializing in Freshwater Pearl Necklaces, watches and Cloth Flower Accessories had their second trunk show, Mad About Pearls, at One Green Street Friday, 3/2/12. It was a fabulous event that showcased handmade pearls necklaces, earrings and cufflinks (P.S. You're Handsome). The Do Bar was on hand to offer guests a complimentary on the spot hairstyle and mini-makeover for the event.
The owner Crystal Milton, draws her inspiration from the early days of the 1950's and 60's, an era where women carried themselves with femininity and grace. Style was effortlessly elegant, and pearls were apart of the everyday wardrobe. The designs of the pearl necklaces are centered around Hollywood's late iconic figures, Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn. Crystal's visual display at the trunk show was creatively done with props that could have been pulled from the set of the television series Mad Men...(hence the theme, Mad About Pearls).
